Please make sure you post your Full name, COSSY Id & date of birth in the comment box below this - if you only rsvp "yes" on the right then this will NOT have been emailed to the Tournament Organiser and he will NOT have you on their pre-registration list!

**Also if you are no longer able to attend please post this & help the TO to run their tournament - if players continuously put their name down for events but do not show up we will make sure TO''s are aware of this.

The Games Shop is a lovely venue & the staff friendly but Unfortunately the TO's inexperience of large competitive play events affected the overall quality of this event. I've been to a regional qualifier at this event a few years ago and the table layout and use of a second room was much safer (even taking the stairs into account),players couldnt get to or out of their seats without climbing over players or tables and judges were physically unable to get to players/do their job properly because of the layout. They did space the tables out a bit late in the day but still kept to the one room. The tournament rounds were cut down due to time constraints again and we all know that large events never run to time, especially if they start late - again I think this is more of an inexperience thing & the judges & TO needing to work together better. We had a good day overall but there were definitely things that could've been done better but Gamerz/Konami should offer more support to new

the tournament is very bad, 60+ player in the tournament and only 5 round of swiff...no top 16 cuts, no more swiff round and the whole schedure is different from what it says on the website. i would never go to BOK in aldershot anymore.

Not bad, the venue was a bit harsh on space .

it was ok though could be more organised however overall I enjoyed it and am happy I qulified

If I could give this event 0 stars, I would have done. This qualifier event at The Games Shop in Aldershot was by far one of the worst Yugioh tournaments I have ever been to - How they won the rights to host this event, I will never know. Despite having 3 or 4 rooms in which to play the tournaments, they decided to force in far more tables into one room than the space could actually accommodate. This resulted in approximately 70 people crammed into seats, climbing over each other and basically making the entire environment unbelievably hot and uncomfortable but ultimately, incredibly dangerous. The whole event started 2 hours late! Two whole hours! There is absolutely no justification for starting this late. People turning up 90 minutes late should not then get the opportunity to register and spend another 30 minutes writing a deck-list. I can write much more about this event, but I'm limited by number of characters in this text box so I will continue in reviewing The Games Shop...

This is the first "Big" Yu-Gi-Oh event I've been to and what a disapointment. -10/10 If only they were a bit more organised and started earilier it could of been done properly - The top 16, 8 and 4 could of happened
  • Danny Heddle
Although the judges were fine the event wasn't organised to a professional, competitive level. Round one had no table numbers and everyone was forced to look for their opponent. Also there was no space to breathe between tables and judges couldn't fit down the tables. Overall the event wasn't very well organised and it was what let it down the most.
  • Zikale Edwards
The organisation of the event was poor. 5 rounds for a regional? top 4 cut? really poor
